La Mirabelle : heated, private, fenced swimming pool [click to enlarge]La Mirabelle is a spacious, detached villa with lovely gardens, a private heated swimming pool and a children’s swimming pool. Luxuriously equipped and furnished, the villa can accommodate up to 13 guests, plus babies. Superb sandy beaches at La-Tranche-sur-Mer are just an eight-minute drive away - and a boulangerie and restaurants are only a one-minute walk away in the local village of Angles.
This single-storey villa is ideal for families or groups of friends wishing to holiday together. The very practical layout ensures maximum privacy, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms to the left of the central living area and three further bedrooms and a third bathroom to the right of the central living area. The children’s playroom is up a few steps on a mezzanine floor - a stair gate is provided for maximum safety. There is ample parking and secure electronic gates at the front of the villa.
At Gîtes in Angles, we specifically cater for families with children. We have an extensive library of children’s books, videos and DVDs, lots of board games, toys, dressing-up clothes, train sets, building blocks and a dolls house.
For families travelling with young babies, we supply a steriliser, a bottle warmer, a travel cot, blackout blinds, a changing mat, a baby bath, a bouncer, crockery & cutlery, a food blender, a high chair and a pushchair. Please contact us to confirm your precise requirements.
For the adults in the party, the villa is equipped with a projector TV home cinema with a Sony surround sound system and a 3-metre motorised screen, all SKY children’s, sports and film channels, an iPod docking station, a FREE 24-hour Wi-Fi internet connection and a Wii console with interactive family games (great on the big screen)!
Situated less than four hours away from St-Malo and just an hour away from the airports at Nantes and La Rochelle, La Mirabelle is a perfect getaway for those wanting a quick, easy trip to excellent beaches and sunshine. [click to enlarge]An excellent choice of top-title family and children’s films, together with lots of great books for babies, children, teens and adults, including fiction, romances, thrillers and autobiographies have been provided in the villa, along with lots of children’s toys, train sets, building blocks, a wonderful dolls house, dressing up clothes with princess slippers... You will be delighted by the number of clean, high-quality toys on offer to keep the little ones amused. Happy children = Happy parents!
In your villa you will find a list of our "Top 10 Things to do with the Kids" in and around Angles, including local adventure parks, theme parks and water parks. There are also reviews of over 20 restaurants in the surrounding area, along with detailed information about sporting & leisure activities nearby, local events and plenty of ideas for entertaining the children. We even have some recommendations "just for the grown ups"!
Open-plan kitchen: the superbly appointed kitchen has a light and airy, double-height ceiling. It has been meticulously furnished and equipped with two large kitchen tables seating up to 14 people, a 5-burner range cooker (great to cook on for a large group), a microwave, a Nespresso coffee machine, two dishwashers and a washing machine. Little extras provided include washing-up liquid, dishcloths, bin bags, kitchen foil, clingfilm, kitchen towels and various herbs & spices, including salt & pepper pots. We have also catered for the little ones with child-friendly crockery & cutlery, a baby-bottle warmer, a microwavable bottle steriliser, a food blender, a high chair and a pushchair (all included in the price).

The bedrooms comprise two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, one triple bedroom with bunk beds and a single bed and one quadruple bedroom with two sets of bunk beds.
All bed linen, bath towels and hand towels are supplied for each guest in residence. All bed linen is 100% cotton and left in the villa ready for your arrival, along with bath and hand towels. Pool/beach towels, also 100% cotton, can be hired from us should you wish to save a bit of extra space in your luggage. Please ask us for more details. For a supplementary charge, we can also provide you with a daily maid service. The beds can be prepared for you each day, along with general tidying and cleaning. This bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and an over-bath shower unit. The second double bedroom also has an en suite bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. This bathroom has both an over-bath shower unit and a separate shower cubicle with multi-jets. Both en suite bathrooms have glass double hand basins.

Children’s TV/playroom: the spacious mezzanine-level playroom has two comfortable sofas, a television with SKY channels, a video/DVD player and loads of children’s toys, books, jigsaw puzzles and games, including train sets, building blocks, a dolls house, dressing up clothes and much, much more. In fact, we’re pretty certain your children won’t want to leave at the end of the holiday! Family fun! [click to enlarge]La Mirabelle has a very child-friendly garden. Your kids will love the children’s play area, which is equipped with a sandpit (buckets & spades provided), swings and a slide – and older children can have fun trying to beat mum and dad at table tennis!
Adjacent to the villa is a decked terrace shaded by an extendable, motorised awning. The terrace is equipped with garden furniture for dining alfresco. There is even a kiddie-size table with chairs for smaller children. La Mirabelle : relax and sunbathe by the private pool [click to enlarge]Private swimming pool: the private, heated swimming pool (32ft x 16ft) is surrounded by a decked terrace and flat lawns. Ample sunloungers and shady parasols have been provided for relaxing with a good book and sunbathing. The shallow end of the pool is only 3’6" deep (i.e. shallower than normal), so young children can stand in the water easily. They can also play on the wide steps which lead down into the water at the shallow end. The deep end is just over 5ft deep.
Next to the main pool, there is a small children’s pool, which babies and toddlers will love to splash around in. The main pool and the baby pool are fully enclosed by a safety fence and a lockable safety gate. Airport pick up/drop off: let us know your flight times and you will be picked up from or taken back to the airport in style! Please contact us for prices and availability.
Taxi service: the law relating to drinking & driving is much stricter in France than it is in the UK, so we are happy to offer you a taxi service to and from beaches, local attractions and restaurants, so ensuring that everyone in your party can relax and enjoy your trip or evening out. Please contact us for prices and availability.
Early check-in: do you want to be sunbathing by the pool by 2pm on the day of your arrival? Why not take advantage of our early check-in offer so that your villa is the first to be ready on arrival day? For 75€ (per villa) and subject to availability, your villa can be given priority by the cleaners and you could be diving into the pool just after lunch! Please contact us for more details.
Late checking-out: if your return flight or ferry is not until the evening, take advantage of our late checking-out offer. For 60€ (per villa) and subject to availability, you can stay in your villa until 11am (normal checking-out is before 10am) and continue to use the garden and pool area until 1pm. Please contact us for more details.
Towel hire: all our pool/beach towels are 100% cotton and very large! Should you want a bit of extra space in your luggage or in the car on the way home for those bottles of wine, pool/beach towels can be hired for 7.50€ per person for one week or 10€ per person for two weeks. Please note that bath towels and hand towels are supplied free of charge for each guest in residence. Please contact us for more details about pool/beach towel hire.
Additional linen hire: clean linen and towels can be supplied midway through your holiday for an additional cost of 120€ per villa. The used set of linen and towels is exchanged for a clean set on Wednesdays (for one-week holidays) or Saturdays/Sundays (for two-week holidays). Please contact us for more details about hiring additional linen.
Cleaning: for an extra special holiday, why not take advantage of our daily maid service? Guests can book one or two hours a day at a cost of 30€ an hour. Please note that this service is very popular, so we recommend that you contact us about this well in advance of your holiday. This service is subject to availability on Saturdays and Sundays.
