The two-storey barn conversion has an open-plan sitting room/kitchen, a master bedroom, a twin bedroom, a shower room and a jacuzzi bathroom on the ground floor and a second master bedroom, a second twin bedroom and a second jacuzzi bathroom on the first floor. La Pergola has been carefully designed to allow easy access for the elderly or for wheelchair users. On the ground floor, the property has non-slip ramps, 1-metre-wide internal doors and a fully tiled wet room with a shower & WC.

Those little extras: La Pergola is a self-catering holiday home so you will need to bring/buy basic essentials. In order to make things a little easier for your arrival, however, we are delighted to offer you an initial complimentary supply of essentials, including tea, coffee, sugar, washing-up liquid, dishcloths, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, kitchen foil, clingfilm, salt & pepper pots, kitchen towels and toilet rolls.
For the little ones we provide: a high chair, travel cot, changing mat, pushchair, along with essentials such as a microwave steriliser, bottle warmer, food blender, themed place mats and children’s crockery & cutlery.

Each has a free-standing air-conditioning units and all bed linen, bath towels and hand towels are supplied for each guest in residence. All bed linen is 100% cotton.
The 15ft-high chestnut & oak ceilings give the ground-floor master bedroom a very light and airy feel. It is a delightful, sunny bedroom with double doors which open directly to the outside. La Pergola : the first-floor master bedroom [click to enlarge]The first-floor master bedroom is quite special. The antique furniture (all handmade) was bought as a complete set from an old farmhouse here in the Vendée. The ornate, hand-crafted bed looks stunning set against the buttermilk-coloured walls. The mirror on the wardrobe and the marble inlay of the two side tables finish the room off beautifully.
The first-floor twin bedroom has two adult-size high quality divan beds, which can be made into one double bed if more than four adults are sharing. The bedroom’s bookcases are stacked with books and children’s toys. La Pergola : dine alfresco! [click to enlarge]Double patio doors in the sitting room lead out to a small private terrace with a chimney- style barbecue that cooks food to perfection! You can all eat together on the terrace at the picnic-style table and benches. Alternatively, the adults can relax and enjoy some peace and quiet during their meal whilst the kids sit alongside at a "kiddie-size" table!
Swimming pool area: the shared 12m x 6m swimming pool with toddler pool slide is surrounded by decking of 150m². The pool has been specifically designed and built with children’s enjoyment in mind and has both a safety fence and a lockable child safety gate (shared with Le Palmier). NB: parents are responsible for holding the keys.
The shallow end is only 1.05m deep (i.e. shallower than normal), so young children can stand in the water easily. The swimming pool is shared between our three properties (Le Palmier, Le Pressoir & La Pergola), so it’s a great opportunity for the kids to meet and play with new friends!
