Le Palmier specifically caters for families with children. We have an extensive library of children’s books, family & children’s films, lots of board games, toys, dressing-up clothes, train sets, building blocks plus much, much more...
For families travelling with young babies, we supply a steriliser, a bottle warmer, a travel cot, blackout blinds, a changing mat, a baby bath, crockery & cutlery, a food blender, a high chair and a pushchair. Please contact us to confirm your precise requirements.
Le Palmier is equipped with a projector TV home cinema with a 3-metre motorised screen, UK TV, an iPod docking station and an internet connection. There is also a Wii console with Wii Sports supplied, but do remember to bring your own games, too - it’s a great experience on the big screen!

Those little extras: Le Palmier is a self-catering holiday home so you will need to bring/buy basic essentials. In order to make things a little easier for your arrival, however, we are delighted to offer you an initial complimentary supply of essentials, including tea, coffee, sugar, washing-up liquid, dishcloths, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, kitchen foil, clingfilm, salt & pepper pots, kitchen towels and toilet rolls.
For the little ones we provide: a high chair, travel cot, changing mat, pushchair, along with essentials such as a microwave steriliser, bottle warmer, food blender, themed place mats and children’s crockery & cutlery.
Le Palmier has four air-conditioned bedrooms. Built on one level (although three steps lead down to the kitchen from the sitting room), two of the four bedrooms are one side of the villa’s centrally located living area; the other two bedrooms are on another side of the property. This layout guarantees privacy and space for everybody, making Le Palmier ideal for holidays with family or friends.

All four bedrooms have free-standing air conditioning units. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with king-size double four-poster beds; the third bedroom is furnished with three single beds; the fourth bedroom is furnished with bunk beds.

Le Palmier : the master bedroom [click to enlarge]The master bedroom is furnished with a wrought-iron king-size four-poster bed. This bedroom also has an en suite Jacuzzi bathroom. The second master bedroom is furnished with a wooden king-size four-poster bed. From this bedroom, a door leads out to the gardens and the pool area.
The third bedroom is furnished with two/three single beds. A double bed can be made up in this room if there are more than four adults in the group. The fourth bedroom is furnished with bunk beds. Le Palmier : en suite bathroom [click to enlarge]A family bathroom is shared by the second master bedroom and the twin/triple bedroom. The bathroom has a bath, a separate shower, a hand basin and a second WC.
Le Palmier has a private outdoor terrace, which is accessible from double patio doors in Le Palmier’s kitchen. Shaded by a wooden pergola, you can all eat together at the picnic-style table with benches. A kiddie-size table and chairs has also been provided for smaller children. Partially laid to lawn, the garden is surrounded by mature plants, trees, shrubs and flowers, with additional garden chairs for lazy afternoons reading under the olive tree. Swimming pool area: the shared 12m x 6m swimming pool with toddler pool slide is surrounded by decked areas (150m²) which are equipped with ample sunloungers for sunbathing. Set back from the pool is a raised, decked terrace which is shaded by a large walnut tree. This is a great place for the kids to play out of the sun.
The pool has been specifically designed and built with children’s enjoyment in mind. There is a toddler pool slide and the shallow end is only 1.05m deep (i.e. shallower than normal), so young children can stand in the water easily. There is both a safety fence and a lockable safety gate (shared with La Pergola). Please note that parents are fully responsible for the keys to the safety gate.
The swimming pool is shared by guests staying in Le Palmier, Le Pressoir and La Pergola, so time spent by the pool will mean your kids are bound to make new friends as they all play together!
